What this site records about visitors, what it does not, and the choices you have. Last updated 25 October 2026.
India Volleyball Hub is an independent fan and data project. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no payments, so it does not ask you for personal details to read it.
To know how many people use the site, each page view adds one to a daily counter for that page. A visitor is counted once a day using a one-way, salted hash of connection details that changes every day. We do not store your IP address, your user agent or any cookie for this, the hash cannot be turned back into either, and it cannot be matched from one day to the next. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we do not count you.
If the site shows a cookie banner, then Google Analytics and/or Google AdSense are switched on for this site. They load only after you press Accept. If you press Decline, or ignore the banner, neither runs and nothing is set. They are operated by Google, which may set cookies and process data under its own policy. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
The corrections form sends us the page you were on and the message you type. Please do not put personal details in it. We use it only to fix the data and delete it once it is dealt with.
The site shows sporting results and profiles built from public sources. For players under 18 we show only name, team and results: no photo, date of birth, hometown or social links.
News items link to the original publisher, and profiles may link to a player's public pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent. Because we do not store information that identifies visitors, there is normally nothing to find, but you can still ask, and ask us to correct or remove a profile of you.
Use the corrections form on the About page.
